Zambian Super League side Napsa Stars have released two players.
Goalkeeper Jackson Kakunta and left back Joseph Lungu will not be offered a loan extension.
“Yes Jackson and Joseph have been released. The CEO (ponga Liwewe) informed them 2 weeks ago,” a ZamFoot Crew said.
The duo spent more time on the bench.
The two players will return to parent club Red Arrows.
Both players are expected to be sent on loan again as they are deemed surplus at Nkoloma Stadium.
Napsa finished the season fifth on the log with 51 points.
It was a good campaign for a team which just won promotion.
The pensioners are expected in the transfer market for players.
