Six players from the Young Copper Queens have been named in the COSAFA U20 Girls Championship team of the tournament.
Margaret Phiri who did not concede a goal and was named goalkeeper of the tournament was named in the team best XI after keeping five clean sheets.
Defender Nana Malanda, Saliya Mwanza, the player of the tournament, Eunice Bwalya, Bwalya Namute Chileshe, and Top goalscorer Ruth Mukoma are the other players named in the team.
Coach Charity Nthala who led the team in the absence of coach Florence Mwila was named as the coach of the tournament.
The Young Copper Queens successfully defended their COSAFA U20 Girls Championship crown with five straight wins and scored 26 goals minus conceding.
