Chipolopolo Boys midfield ace Enock Mwepu limped off a minute after the hour mark at Molineux Stadium as Brighton and Hove Albion cruised to a 3-0 win over Wolves.
The Zambian international seemed to have felt pain in his groin but the extent of his injury and how long he will be out is yet to be determined.
The Chipolopolo skipper will undergo a scan this morning to asses how long he will be out with all indications pointing to ‘nothing very serious’.
“He went off. I can’t say anything really. I think fatigue and he felt his groin but we have to wait 24-48 hours,” Brighton boss Graham Potter said after the match.
Goals from Alexis Mac Allister, Leandro Trossard and Yves Bissouma sealed an emphatic 3-0 win for the Seagulls who have been amazing away from home recording the 7th best away form in the Premier League.
Victory lifted Albion up to ninth on 44 points, three more than their previous best, and Graham Potter’s pre-match pledge to give the travelling support more ‘incredible memories’ was certainly fulfilled.
Next up for the Computer and his teammates is Manchester United who they welcome at the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday.
