Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu’s Redbull Salzburg is back on top of the Austrian Bundesliga log table after LASK Linz were docked six points for breaking strict social distancing rules in training.
This decision comes after a video surfaced showing LASK Linz players in full team training contrary to what the Bundesliga teams had agreed on.
The Senate 1 of the Football Bundesliga believes LASK had held at least four team training sessions contrary to the agreement of the Bundesliga teams – at a time when only small group training without physical contact was allowed.

Linz can still and have said they will appeal the decision. After they receive the full judgement they will have 14 days to write to the protest committee judgments has also been fined € 75,000 but this penalty may not apply if LASK transfers € 50,000 to an ÖFB aid fund for domestic clubs.
The Austrian Bundesliga will return on Wednesday with ten rounds of matches left to play to decide who will be crowned as Champions.
