Iconic Zambian legendary goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene has travelled to Egypt with South African side Mamelodi Sundowwns.
The South African giants are in Cairo for back to back CAF Champions Leaague.
Masandawana will face Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh this Saturday at Cairo’s Al-Salam Stadium.
Six days later, Bafana ba style will also be in action in Cairo against Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly.
Mamelodi Sundowns won their first game of the CAF Champions League group stages after defeating Al-Hilal Omdurman 1-0 on Friday evening in Rustenburg.
Masandawana currently top the log table in group A.
Elsewhere in the CAF Champions League, Zambian forward Augustine Mulenga’s Amazulu will be in action on Friday.
The Benni McCarthy coached will host Guinea side Horoya in Durban.
Both Amazulu and Horoya lost their first Group B matches to Raja Casablanca and ES Setif respectively.
