Mwape Mwelwa, Kabamba Kalande join ZESCO United backroom staff

Former Chipolopolo midfielder Mwape Mwelwa has been appointed as equipment manager at ZESCO United, the club has confirmed.

Zega Mambo has also appointed former Zanaco midfielder Kabamba Kalande as team manager.

Mwelwa takes over from Chance Ndalama while Kalande replaces John Luchembe who served as Team Manager for the last three-years.

“ZESCO United management has with immediate effect appointed former Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Administrative Officer-Technical, Kabamba Kalande as club Team Manager.

The former Zanaco Football Club midfielder replaces John Luchembe who served as Team Manager for the last three-years.

Meanwhile former ZESCO United midfielder, Mwape Mwelwa has been appointed club Equipment Manager taking over from Chance Ndalama.”

Club Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Charles Kalala who announced the changes belives the duo will add value in their respective positions.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kalande and Mwelwa as Team Manager and Equipment Manager respectively. We are positive they will add great value to the club.”

Kalala has further thanked both Luchembe and Ndalama for serving the club diligently and for their contribution towards the team’s success.

“I wish to take this opportunity to thank these men for their service. They will always be part of this football club,” he said.
