Mwape Musonda joins Swallows

Zambian striker Mwape Musonda has returned to South Africa and has joined Swallows FC after his stint in the Middle East.

Mwape has signed a two-year contract according to reports in South Africa.

“We have signed him on a two-year deal with an option to extend it for a further two seasons. This shows how serious we are about beefing up coach Brandon Truter’s squad and we hope Musonda can deliver like we know he can,” Swallows chairman David Mogashoa told Soccer Laduma.

The Zambian forward clinched the South Africa Premiership Golden Boot award with 16 goals from 28 matches at Black Leopards.

It was his second golden boot, He bagged the NFD golden boot in the 2017/18 season thanks to his 14 strikes to help Black Leopards win promotion.

One thing that i don’t understand players who are roaming around left right and centre are preferred for players having good clubs in good leagues getting good game time why why?..this has been happening for years since kamanga became president we never such problems when kalusha was president it seems kamanga slects players from the local league to market them for teams abroad and get good comissions..please its too much time for change ..
