NAPSA Stars’ new head coach, Perry ‘Bebeto’ Mutapa has set his sights on helping the team to quickly bounce back to the Super League.
Mutapa has however admitted that the objective will not be easy looking at the Competition available in the Eden University/ FAZ National Division One.
The former Forest Rangers and Power Dynamos boss expects Stiff Competition from Nchanga Rangers, Mufulira Wanderers, and Young Green Eagles among others.
“I think the target is simple, we all know that NAPSA Stars will be playing in Division One so the target is just to go back to the Premier League next season,” he said.
” I think football is about making a priority that were you going there is a project and NAPSA have a project. When I started I was at Lusaka Dynamos and we won the Championship to qualify to the Super League.”
“We should not be cheated, Division One is a tough league, there will be a lot of teams competing to go into Super League like Nchanga Rangers, Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, Young Green Eagles it will be a very tough one, so we just have to work hard,” he added.
NAPSA Stars on Tuesday announced the arrival of Perry Mutapa at the NAPSA Sports Complex after penning a one-year deal.
NAPSA Stars Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Perry Mutapa as the Club’s new Head Coach.
The new coach was unveiled today August 17, 2021, after signing a one-year contract with the club.
Before joining Napsa Stars, Mutapa was on the books of Power Dynamos FC and Forest Rangers FC in the top flight of the Zambia Premier League.

Bebeto who has already work has been tasked to earn the team’s promotion to the Super League by the end of the 2021/22 FAZ/Eden National Division One League Season.
