Mutapa takes charge of first Nkwazi training session

New Nkwazi head coach Oswald Mutapa on Wednesday morning took charge of his first training since his appointment. 

Mutapa who is a police officer was appointed by the Police Command earlier this week and confirmed on Tuesday by the Inspector General Lemmy Kajoba. 

The Nkwazi  squad reported At Edwin Imboela Stadium this morning ahead of their first session under the leadership of our new head coach.

Mutapa who doubles up as Zambia U-23 National team boss took the players through their paces alongside his first assistant coach Dennis Makinka and Keegan Phiri who is second assistant coach. 

Mutapa takes over from Tenant Chilumba who ditched the club to join ZESCO United as George Lwandamina’s assistant. 

Nkwazi are currently 16th on the log with 17 points from 17 games and will be away to Power Dynamos this weekend as the League resumes.
