Power Dynamos head coach bemoaned his sides missed matches after their narrow 1-0 win over Nkwazi on Sunday at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Abayellow picked up three points at home against the Zambia Police sponsored outfit thanks to an early strike from Ishmael Eddy Ankobo, who continues to stay in the spotlight for the right reasons.
The Congolese forward scored the only goal of the match just 58 seconds into the game.
Despite scoring just a single goal for the second time in a row, Power Dynamos are showing strong momentum as they continue their push to climb the log standings.
Head Coach Oswald Mutapa’s rotation strategy also seems to be paying off, considering the congested fixture schedule. Two wins in two matches regardless of narrow scorelines show that the plan may be working.
“We wanted three points and that’s exactly what we have gotten. We had chances to win even by three or four goals but as usual, with the same disease we couldn’t score more than two. But we managed the game and we are happy with the three points,” he said.
“Changes will be made, a lot of them actually. Whether fans are happy or unhappy is up to them — what we need is three points,” He added.
Power Dynamos will now shift focus to their next two home fixtures, a huge clash against Zesco United on the 5th of November, followed by the Nkana on the 8th of November.
