Musa ruled out of Mufulira Wanderers clash

Nkana started the 2019 MTN/FAZ Super League with back to back wins and the defense is yet to concede a goal in so far this season but however, the Wusakile based giants will have to play without their captain Musa Muhamed this Sunday when they welcome Mighty Mufulira Wanderers at Home

The defender who left the country for Kenya immediately after Nkana’s 1-0 away win over Buildcon in the week 2 encounter will miss the Buildcon showdown due to family engagement.

Musa left for Kenya to attend the birth of his child but due to complications with the birth, Musa will have to remain in Kenya for a little longer, Head Coach Beston Chambeshi told Nkana.org.

“Musa will not be with us for this game because he had to attend to his wife who was hospitalized. We are in touch with him, he will be with us soon but we have replacements and I am happy that all the players who were injured are back.”

Nkana’s striker Ronald Kampamba is set to return to the team after missing the clash against Buildcon which the Red Devils won 1-0.

Musa’s absence will open up a chance for Ugandan Shafik Bakaki to make his competitive Nkana debut. Others who can partner Harun Shakava are Ben Adama Bahn, Richard Ocran, and Moses Nyondo.
