Super League side FC Muza are set to announce a new coach, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
And the ZamFoot Crew understands that former Kansanshi Dynamos Boys Mulwanda is not a favourite for the job.
Mulwanda was recently linked with the Muza job and was considered as one of the bookmakers’ favourites.
“That’s not the case. He was shortlisted but it seems like we will be having another coach ” a ZamFoot Crew insider has said.
Muza finished fourth last season, 18 points behind Champions Red Arrows.
A fortnight ago, Muza parted company with head coach Mathews Ndhllovu after a season at the club.
Ndhlovu took over at Muza from Lameck Banda in June, 2023 ahead of the club’s maiden continental football campaign.
Coincidentally, Banda is free following his exit from Prison Leopards where he spent 4 months.
