The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Luapula Province has concluded its elective Annual General Meeting with Mweemba Mujala retaining his seat while Lewis Kapesa has won as vice chairperson.
The others elected are Jazzino Katyamba as committee member while Theresa Liyungu and Kelvin Mwape went unopposed as women representative and youth representative respectively.
For the vice chairperson position, Kapesa polled 34 votes while Winston Kambenja got 18.
In the race for committee member Katyamba got 28 votes ahead of Mwila’s 24.
FAZ has now held elections in seven provinces with the next election taking place tomorrow (Friday) in Northern Province.
The national elective AGM will be held in Livingstone on March 29 at Fairmount Hotel.
