MTN Super League side Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have confirmed the appointment of Lameck Banda and Bupe Chewe as head coach and assistant coach.
As earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew the duo have penned three year deals with the legendary Cup winners. The duo worked together both at Lumwana Radiants and Prison Leopards.
During his tenure Banda led FC MUZA to impressive performances that saw the club finish second place in the Super League and automatically qualify for their maiden CAF Confederation Cup.
Banda also led Mazabuka outfit to the ABSA Cup Final where they lost to Forest Rangers at a packed Woodlands Stadium.
He then had stints with Lumwana Radiants and Prison Leopards before returning to FC MUZA.

With a proven track record in Zambia’s top league, Coach Banda’s impressive resume includes guiding FC MUZA to a second-place finish in the 2022-23 Super League season and a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup. He also led the team to the ABSA Cup final that year.
Coach Banda will be assisted by his trusted assistant coach, Bupe Chewe. Together, they will drive the club’s long-term ambitions with their proven youth development skills and competitive results. The coaching duo is ready to start work, and new signings are expected to follow soon.
