Forest Rangers have moved to second place on the log following a narrow win over Kabwe Warriors while Green Buffaloes have moved out of the relegation zone following a win away in Ndola.
The MTN Super League action continued this afternoon with four matches taking center stage.
Relegation-threatened Green Buffaloes have moved out of the relegation zone following a hard-fought 2-0 win over team Kopala, Buildcon. Friday Samu and George Ngoma scored for the Zambia army-sponsored outfit.
At the same venue, Forest Rangers edged Kabwe Warriors 1-0 to leapfrog Sensational Zanaco and move up to second place but the Bankers have played three games less. Shadreck Malambo scored the only goal of the game.
In Solwezi, Lumwana Radiants came from a goal down to hold Power Dynamos to a 1-1 draw. Patient Ikamba canceled out Davy Daka’s opener.
At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Eric Chomba scored the only goal of the game as High Flying Nkwazi came out victorious in the Service men’s encounter as they beat Green Eagles.
The win takes Nkwazi to 6th place on the log with 36 points while the Kawale Boys remain just two points above the relegation zone.
