Buildcon continued their good start to the 2021/2022 Zambia Super League season as they made it two wins in a row while newcomers Kafue Celtic were handed a huge reality check by Forest Rangers.
Team Kopala have maintained their slot at the summit after they edged Prison Leopards 1-0 thanks to a Brian Mwila late strike. Buildcon lead the log with six points after recording a 100% winning start to the season.
Newcomers Kafue Celtic received a reality check on Saturday afternoon after they were thrashed 4-1 by Forest Rangers.
On-loan forward Eric Chomba scored a brace while Quadri Kola converted from the spot before Jonathan Munalula could seal the win with a close-range finish. Albert Kangwanda got a consolation goal for the Crocs who are yet to record a win with a point to their name after two rounds of matches.
Elsewhere Chambishi and Indeni played out to a 1-1 draw while George Ngoma’s lone strike sealed maximum points for Green Buffaloes who beat High Flying Nkwazi 1-0 at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Lusaka Dynamos were also held to a goalless draw by newcomers Konkola Blades at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
