Tanzanian side, Simba Sports Club has completed the signing of Chipolopolo striker Moses Phiri.
The ‘Moses of our time’ has penned a two year deal with Wekundu wa Msimbazi after leaving Zanaco following the expiration of his contract.
The former Buildcon striker will link up with compatriots Rally Bwalya and Clatous Chota Chama who feature of the Tanzania Premier League side.
Phiri is Simba’s first signing following the end of the season as the team works towards major squad improvements that they plan to make towards the new season which is expected to start soon.
Last season with Zanaco Phiri scored 14 goals in the Zambian Premier League as the number two top scorer behind Ricky Banda who netted 16-goals.
Phiri won the 2020/21 FAZ Super Division golden boot with 17 goals helping Zanaco qualify for Continental football.
