Misozi Zulu joins Hibernians FC in Malta 

ZAMBIAN midfielder Misozi Chisha Zulu has joined European side Hibernians FC in Malta from Zambian Premier League (ZPL) Eden University Women’s Super Division side Red Arrows Women Football Club.

Misozi Zulu, who arrived in Malta on Thursday signed a 1-year contract with an option of extension with the Hibernian Women’s side that is competing in the 2025/26 Assikura Women’s League.

Zulu who was recently offered a job by the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) is making a return to Europe after previous stints in Kazakhstan and Turkey as well as TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) while for the local teams she started her footballer career with Chiparamba Breakthrough before joining National Assembly, Red Arrows and Indeni Roses.

Her wealth of experience in the game is something she will be hoping to bring to the Hibernians as an attacking midfielder being the first female Zambian footballer to play her club football in the island country of Malta.

Zulu has also featured for the Zambia Senior Women’s National Team on several occasions before in friendly matches, tournament qualifiers including taking part in major events like Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Olympics and COSAFA Tournaments.
