Kazhakstan based Zambia Women’s National team forward Misozi ‘CR7’ Zulu is optimistic that the Copper Queens will manage a victory over Zimbabwe in tomorrow’s women’s Olympic qualifier 1st leg match against the Mighty Warriors of Zimbabwe slated for Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka.
This will be Misozi’s first game for the Copper Queens in a long time having missed the 2018 AWCON due to Injury and 2019 COSAFA due to club commitment.
Misozi who joined UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigners BIIK Kazygurt early this month and become the first Zambian to score in the Competition is ready to use the experienced gained playing in the Uefa Champions League to help Zambia overcome Zimbabwe.
“I am ready to score goals for Zambia and use my experience playing with top European players to my country’s advantage, we have lots of experienced players in Zambia who play in top leagues in the world, what we lack is sponsorship,” Misozi told the ZamFoot Crew in an interview.
Zambia host the Mighty Warriors tomorrow, Wednesday in the first leg before traveling for the second leg scheduled for Sunday, 1st September.
Tickets are available in all Shoprite outlets through computicket; K10 open wing, K50 Grandstand. School children in uniforms will be allowed to enter the stadium free.
