ZESCO United defensive midfielder Misheck Chaila has left the club to join 13-times Super League Champions, Nkana Football Club.
Chaila joined ZESCO United five years ago from Konkola Blades. The lanky defensive midfielder has played a significant role in the club’s success in recent years.
The 30-year-old midfielder’s name may not have been constantly echoed among the ZESCO United die-hard supporters. However, it is his level of discipline and fighting spirit that set him apart from other players whenever he was granted an opportunity to marshal the club’s midfield.
ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Richard Mulenga has thanked Chaila for his service at the club: “I wish to thank Chaila for the wonderful years we spent with him at this club. He has been part of a great group of players who have contributed immensely to the growth of the club and most importantly to its’ success.
On behalf of the club executive, I wish him the very best as he opens a new chapter at Nkana Football Club.”

Misheck chaila looks like a useless player in my face but it is surprising to hear comendations about him
No matter how bad he is, he cannot be useless. He is useful as a bad example.
