Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojević has said Zambia’s opponents in the quarter finals of the ongoing CHAN tournament Morocco have an advantage over his team.
Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew ahead of the must win clash against the defending Champions, Micho said the Atlas Lions are a top class team.
“Our brothers from Morocco have a top-class team,” Micho said.
“They will be playing in a stadium they know and it is similar to the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca [refering to the giant 67,000 seater home of the Atlas Lions], they are used to the weather and they have all it takes [to win the tournament],” he added.
“He however added that the North Africans will be meeting the Zambia version of Lions,” he added.
The Champions topped Group C and had the advantage of not shifting base while Zambia had to move from Buea to Douala after coming out as runners up group D.
Good observation. Zambia has a defence that collapses into 6s and 7s under attack. They never learn how to mark an area. They ball watch instead of man and space watch.
If this can be corrected then they may be hope. And please no defender should cross the centre line otherwise the fast running Arabs will tear us apart by counter attack.
