Chipolopolo Boys coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic showed his ruthlessness after he axed Augustine Mulenga for indiscipline, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Napsa Stars defender Luka Banda and African Cup of Nations winner Nathan Sinkala did not make the trip for tonight’s AFCON qualifier against Zimbabwe.
“Micho is tired of Augustine. He is frustrated with him,” a ZamFoot Crew source said.
“For him [Augustine], it’s purely for being indiscipline while for the other two [Luka and Sinkala] it was for personal reasons.
Micho signed Augustine Mulenga from Zanaco during his time at South African giants Orlando Pirates.
It was during their time in Soweto that Micho had reservations about the players off the field antics.
Meanwhile, Power Dynamos left back Zachariah Chilongoshi is out of the tie against Zimbabwe as he is still suspended.
There is no meat to this story. Augustine Mulenga is very disciplined, I think there is another reason for his being dropped.
