Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma has joined Pretoria Callies as a free agent after parting ways with the University of Pretoria at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The Romans took to social media to confirm the arrival of the 37-year-old former Chipolopolo Boys forward.

Mbesuma could make his debut for Callies in the South African National First Division when they welcome Hungry Lions FC at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
Mbesuma has previously featured for Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Portsmouth, Now dissolved Mpumalanga Black Aces, Mamelodi Sundowns, Maritimo, Bursaspor, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows, Highlands Park, and Maccabi FC.
Mbesuma remains the record goalscorer in a PSL season, having netted 25 league goals and 35 in all competitions during the 2004/05 campaign with Amakhosi.
