Chipolopolo legend, Collins Mbesuma’s sons Lineker Kajiya Mbesuma and Morientes Kajiya Mbesuma scored a goal each to guide Roan United to a 2-0 win over Ndola United.
Lineker, who started the match, put Roan United in the lead in the 34th minute while Morientes came off the bench to seal the win in additional time.
The duo joined Roan at the start of the season signing one year deals. Before joining Roan United, they played for TS Galaxy Juniors in South Africa.
Their father, a former Chipolopolo striker played for Roan United where he made his name before he went to score frequently at a host of South African clubs, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Highlands Park, Highlands Park and University of Pretoria.
The 2012 AFCON winner also had a brief spell in Europe, at Portsmouth in England, Maritimo (Portugal) and Turkish side Bursaspor.
Roan United have now won all their opening five games of the season in the ZPL Men’s National League.
The Luanshya based outfit have maintained their stay at the summit of the log table.
