Zambia Women’s national team midfielder Mary Mwakapila is settling in well at new club Hapoel Be’ersheba.
The Zambian midfielder joined the Israeli outfit last week and has already found a new friend in fellow COSAFA representative and Namibia Women’s national team player Annouscka Kordom.
The Diminutive midfielder penned a two year deal with the Israeli Ligat Al Women’s League outfit.
Mwakapila has joined a growing list of Copper Queens’ stars who are now based outside the country with the skipper of the side Barbra Banda playing in China, Hellen Mubanga, and Rachel Nachula in Spain, and Rachel Kundananji in Kazakhstan.
Mwakapila is an accomplished player locally and with the national team, She was key to coach Bruce Mwape’s squad’s historic qualification to the Olympics.
