Martin Phiri makes a rare appearance as Numba names squad for Mufulira Wanderers clash

The MTN/FAZ Super League tomorrow enters Week 14 with a number of mouthwatering encounters expected to take center stage across the country.

Seven-time Super League Champions, Sensational Zanaco who are just 3 points above Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy(KYSA) in the relegation zone will be at Shinde Stadium to face a struggling Mufulira Wanderers side who have so far had it very hard in terms of picking up maximum points in the 2019 Super League and are rocked bottom of the table managing only 7 points from 13 games played.

The Numba Numamba charges will hope to redeem themselves having gone six games without a win which is so worrying for both the Technical Bench and the fans who follow the club’s performance.

Numamba has made only two changes to the side that played to a 1-1 draw away in Solwezi against Lumwana Radiants in a rescheduled Week 10 match, with Racha Kola and Martin Phiri being the only new faces in the traveling squad.

Kola has made the cut in the goalkeeping area alongside the usual goal minders, Toaster Nsabata and Mangani Banda.

Another inclusion in the squad is Martin Phiri who comes to the fold replacing Roger Kola in the striking role. The former  Power Dynamos  has not been part of the Bankers matchday squad this season.

Numamba has however kept faith in his Defence line and the midfield as the only departments which remain unchanged.

Zanaco and Mufulira Wanderers will Square off tomorrow at Shinde Stadium in a match Slated for 15:00hrs with the Bankers carrying an upper urge over Abena Milambo who has never picked up maximum points at their home ground against Sensational since 2015.

The rest of the Squad list include :

Goalkeepers
Toaster Nsabata, Mangani Banda, Racha Kola.

Defenders
Lawrence Chungu, Tiberius Lombard, Kebson Kamanga, Kevin Owusu, Taonga Bwembya, Ziyo Tembo.

Midfielders
Lassa Kiala, Tafadzwa Rusike, Ernest Mbewe, Guily Manziba, Charles Zulu, Kelvin Kapumbu.

Forwards
Martin Phiri, Chitiya Mususu, Moussa Souleymanou, Emmanuel Okutu.
