Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has pleaded with Cameroon to allow him to feature in the FA Cup.
Cameroon are set to play a friendly against Zambia in Saudi Arabia on January 9 before they begin their tournament campaign in Ivory Coast against Guinea on January 15.
However, according to ESPN, the goalkeeper wants to play in United’s FA Cup third round clash with Wigan on January 8.
Zambia will spend about 10 days in Saudi Arabia before heading to Ivory Coast.
The Copper Bullets will begin their quest of a major title since 2012 on January 17 against DR Congo.
Avram Grant’s men will then face Tanzania before wrapping up group matches against Morocco in San Pedro.
