Wigan Athletic starlet Mwiya Malumo has set his sights on helping the team to qualify to the 2019 Niger U20 AFCON by scoring games and winning games.
Malumo scored his first goal for Zambia this afternoon as Zambia played out to a one all draw with ten man Rwanda at Nkoloma Stadium.
” I want to score goals and win games . I want to help the team to qualify to the African youth Championship,” He said.
Malumo said the team will take their next game against either Sudan or Burundi with a positive attitude and make sure they qualify to the the tournament.
” We will take it the way we took this one, Think positively so that we can win the game, We will work hard to qualify to the tournament,” He said.
Zambia progressed to the final round of qualification with a three goals to one aggregate despite drawing at home with Rwanda.
