Makinka linked with Caps United assistant coach roleĀ 

Dennis Makinka could join Ian Bakala at Caps United in Zimbabwe as one of his assistant coaches, The ZamFoot Crew has learned. 

Makinka worked with Bakala at Nkana last season before the duo was sent on administrative leave in October and subsequently let go. 

Should he join Bakala at Caps United the CAF A diploma holder will be a welcome addition to the backroom staff. 

Makinka spent the better part of the last seven years at Nkwazi as head coach and assistant coach. 

Bakala was unveiled as Caps United head coach in May, signing a three year deal at the Zimbabwean giants.

Bakala doubles up as the Zambia U17 National team team head coach and guided the young guns to the quarter finals of the CAF U17 African Cup of Nations subsequently qualifying the team to the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Bakala is on his second stint at Caps United having featured for the club as a player in the mid 2000s. 

He has so far managed to collect eight points from a possible fifteen with two wins, two draws and one defeat.
