Lusaka Dynamos back in top four after Nchanga win

Elite Lusaka Dynamos moved into fourth position after they beat visiting Nchanga Rangers 2 – 1 in a tightly contested fixture played at Sunset Stadium.

Nchanga Rangers who are struggling this season and are currently in 17th position looked a better side today but they were unfortunate to concede in the 36th minute when league top scorer Chris Mugalu finished from inside the box to take his tally to 16 goals.

Nchanga pulled one back through skipper Bwalya Kasonde when he headed home from close range benefiting from well taken set piece in the 62nd minute but substitute Aubrey Funga fired Dynamos back into the lead with a well taken shot be after he was set up by Mugalu.

It is a tightly contested race for top four with the Lusaka Dynamos behind the leaders Green Buffaloes on by three points while only goal difference separates the second third and fourth placed teams.

The win takes the Patrick Phiri coached to 50 points which sees them displace Nkana who drop to 5th position on 49 points.

Nkana are only ahead of Zesco on goals scored as they are both on 49 points.
