Two Lusaka giants in Green Buffaloes and Zanaco will take center stage when the two teams square it off in a week 7 fixture scheduled for Edwin Imboela stadium.
Zanaco who have been in a free scoring form will be looking to redeem themselves from the loss they suffered in Kabwe against Magnificent people’s club Kabwe Warriors.
Prince Mumba came off the bench for Kabwe Warriors to score a late winner and complete a 2 goals comeback to win the match 3-2. Zanaco have only lost one game and drawn one this season.
While Green Buffaloes who are hovering above relegation zone, have struggled this campaign to replicate the form which saw them play CAF competition football in two consecutive seasons. They have only won once, drawn twice and lost three times so far.
The poor performance prompted management to fire coach Charles Bwale who has been at the club for only one month 9 days (40days) and bring back Bilton Musonda to take charge again.
A win for Green Buffaloes will lift the spirit and morale for the players who have looked to be lacking self confidence. While a win for Zanaco will put them in a good position for the title race.
