Zambia Super League side, Lumwana Radiants has confirmed the acquisition of eleven new players ahead of the new Superleague season.
The new players include former Sensational Zanaco trio of striker Felix Nyaende, winger Julius Situmbeko, and defender Jimmy Nakena. Others are Katembwe Alain Ngeleka, Chipo Mugala, Edward Chimfwembe, Patient Ikamba, Dina Dinanga, Jimmy Kasongo,Watson Munyemvu, Hector Chiwaya, and Heritier Kabeya.
“We have worked tirelessly in this transfer window and managed to get a mammoth 11 signings completed before the deadline. As a team that wants to progress and go on to become one of the best in the country , We strongly believe that these players who have signed together with those that have extended their contracts here will help us meet our objectives this season.”
The club also sent four players out on loan in Davies Chilambe, Terry Mwashi, and Charles Yande to Livingstone Pirates and Chabu Chisenga to Kalumbila Trident. Midfielder Reuben Chansa has been sold to Kitwe United, Chitoshi Chinga to Forest Rangers, and Mukuka Chewe to Red Arrows.
