Lumwana Radiants out of relegation zone…Wins for ZESCO, Nchanga, Nkwazi and Mufulira Wanderers

Lumwana Radiants have moved out of the relegation zone following a hard fought 2-1 win over Atletico Lusaka away at Nkoloma Stadium.

Goals from Abraham Kanyangala and captain Richard Zulu were enough to give the North Western Province based outfit maximum points. Raymond Mwiinga scored the consolation goal for Atletico Lusaka.

Elsewhere, Idris Ilunga Mbombo scored a brace as Nkana came from two goals down to hold ZANACO 2-2 at Chilata.

ZANACO found the back of the net through Wilson Chisala and Dominic Kanda.

At Shinde Stadium, Mufulira Wanderers edged Red Arrows by a narrow one nil scoreline. Maybin Mpoyi scored the all important goal.

Green Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by Green Eagles while Kabwe Warriors and Mutondo Stars played to a goalless draw.

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Kenneth Kasanga and Innocent Kashita were on target as Nkwazi saw off Green Buffaloes 2-0.

ZESCO United kept their title chance alive with a late Leonard Mulenga goal to reduce Power Dynamos’ lead to 3 points ahead of Abayellow’s match against NAPSA Stars tomorrow.
