Lumwana Radiants awarded three points

Lumwana Radiants have been awarded three points and a 3-0 scoreline for an unplayed week 21 Eden University/FAZ National Division One match.

The FAZ Disciplinary Committee has handed three points to the Uranium Boys for the un-played Week 21 fixture that saw KYSA Football Club fail to pitch for the game.

KYSA did not show up for the Week 21 match 27th January 2022 on account that their players had just been vaccinated and were unsure of their reaction afterwards.

“It is in view of the foregoing that we find the respondent to have acted in contravention of article 110 (1) of the Disciplinary Code and accordingly find them guilty as charged. Further to this finding, it is hereby adjudged that the respondent (KYSA) has forfeited Week 21 match and the complainant (Lumwana) is hereby awarded three points and a score line of 3-0,” reads the verdict in part.

Lumwana Radiants have now moved to 51 points with a game in hand, only two points behind log leaders FC MUZA.
