  3. So few people that you can hear the echo of the clapping hands of fans! These people dont deserve such a hot talent as Musonda

  4. This is good for Musonda, but I agree with Manfree. Lets be serious when writing reports, just saying the one player has been called up instead of listing the full squad.

By the way, why are we still doing qualifiers when no one has agreed to host the tournament.

  5. Zambia will finish third in this cheap group. The games with Cape verde and Madagascar will end in a draw. Zambia can’t beat Madagascar away, Cape Verdes worst result against Zambia away is also draw.

  6. @KWABENA PISO, its Mozambique and not Madagascar. We can have all our best players but we won’t do well in these two matches Unless we get a good coach. Our players run out of ideas whenever they have the ball. Janza aka blank coach must be fired.

  7. Never mind kwabena Piso, he’s just worried AFCON wont be interesting without Zambia…I hear you bro but be rest assured we’ll be there wherever the tournament will be hosted.

  8. @Don, you are the man bro! If Ivory coast came here and no epidemic was recorded, bring the Afcon to Zambia. Pa Stadio de la Levy, Heroes de Jubilee, Nkoloma ha Nkoloma and the great Arthur Davis stadium, you host the Africa Cup, Period! Bring the dollar Africa, after all its Jubilee all the way.

  10. I hate to say Kwabena Piso has a point, but he does. Zambia’s away record as abismal, we have not won away from home in a competitive fixture since we beat Mozambique under Bonetti. We failed to beat Lesotho, I mean Lesotho. Something special will have to happen in Mozambique, but I seriously have doubts.

  11. Even if we don’t qualify it will be okay. Next years afcon is likely to be hosted by west african country full of ebola (Ghana). Morroco was smart to pull out.

  12. @kwabena piso..you are indeed correct and im not even trying to start an argument over this but if you clearly look at Zambia’s away record and stop being ignorant you will realise what kwabena is saying is correct, Zambia has been desasterious when it comes to away games..this was the cause of us not qualifying for the world cup..lets be hinest when you fail to smash easy teams like Lesotho for full points then there is something wrong and until its adresseed withen the coaching then we shall struggle to make Afcon or better yet even if we make it we will get demoloished by other African teams at the cup. all African teams are stepping up and we are simply stepping down..lets not fool ourselves we have a lot of work to do and we can start by CAUSING HAVIC FOR THESE IDOTS AT FAZ TO CLEAR OUT..WE CAN CLEAR FAZ OUT since the people run things, we may be punished from fifa and not be allowed to go afcon but we can start to plan better. UP ZAMBIA

  13. Lubambo is a good addition but the league he is playing in is weaker than the Zambian league. Yes he is in Europe but in a very weak league even by UEFA standards, it’s top scorer cannot win the top scorers award unless he scored twice the number of goals. Their’s is multiplied by a weight of 0.5

Meantime, with Janza at the helm the nation can only hold their breath. He has no experience enough to be in that position and being economical with money is costing us a lot. It will be a huge blow if we didn’t qualify and the prospects are not good. We need to build in blocks starting with the U17, U20 and U23 with a strong senior team as a result.

  14. Armenia is number 51 out of 54 nations and having a player there is no plus to Zambia. The only positive about it is that he is seeing game time albeit in a very week league. More like being a pro in Lesotho, Madagascar, and the like.

The player is good but not for that league and please don’t even boast of the goal he scored.

  15. Sad news on the president and now that the cats away the mice will play. I can only imagine the infighting for the presidency that is going on right now considering it started before he even passed on. MHSRIP.

Back to soccer good to see the young lad back in the fold since his wonder goal against Japan. I wonder if this is the dawn of a new era of players in the national team. I doubt Janza is brave enough to make wholesome changes but let’s wait and see what this new development will unfold.

  17. @ Bolapazed that league has a system of developing players for the bigger European market as such they develop players into end product. Remember this is the same league that developed Mbola into a player worthy of the eyes of Totenham and Arsenal so dont compare them to Lesotho. They have a proper development structure because they look at it as a business model. Eventually they reap big when they sell. Lets give credit were its due and not always lean on the typical Zambian spirit of bring everything Zambian or Zambian affiliated down.

  18. Isn’t that amazing that KK (God bless his soul!) has outlived 3 of his 4 successors already! May your Soul Rest In Peace President Michael Sata…Soccer fans will for ever remember that Zambia won the Afcon during your administration.

  19. Good confidence booter for this chap,he played a great game against the Japs,I believe he brings a lot on board for Chipolopolo even at his age….Heartfelt condolences to all Zambia.

  20. zambians wether age cheat or no age cheat ghana rules african foor ball.even most of zambians under 17 players are not using their right ages.even with the so called cameroonian team .caf knows the threat of ghana that why thy are doin all this to ghana.

  21. The Minnows CAF don’t manufacture MRI scan machines, unless they’re produced too be allergic to Ghanaians players. Uganda just like Cameroon has done to you did to us but we proved our MRI on our players. Big Steve as usual very logical arguments. Nice to see Janza romping in young ones in place of tired “experienced” and if I was coach and my name was Shakes Mashaba, my line up against Moz would be 1.Mweene. 2.Donashano 3.Boyd Mkandawire. 4. Aaron Katebe 5.Sunzu 6.Sinkala 7.Lubambo Musonda 8.Kalaba 9.Patson Daka 10. Sate Sate 11. Evans Kangwa

  22. Ba Zamfoot, what colour is Lusambo’s team wearing and which goal did he score? And secondly, is the match being played behind closed doors or the standard of soccer in Armenia is so pathetic that people don’t bother watching?

  23. Lubambo the unsung heroe to the rescue .the talent of Lubambo can’t be belittled because he is playing in a weaker league. The boy score a wonder goal against Japan and i don’t see anything weak about that goal. When you are good, you are good.

  24. armernia iz not weak league as most of tha people thing. visit yo net and see how there national team is playing against big teams. there football is developing fast.
