Lubambo Musonda to link-up with Chipolopolo

Danish-based Zambian winger, Lubambo Musonda is expected to link-up with the Chipolopolo Boys camped in Morocco, according to a report monitored by ZamFoot.

With the official list of foreign-based players called for the forthcoming Qatar 2022 World FIFA World Cup yet to be released by Football House, anxiety is starting creep-in among the concerned fans.

Having confirmed attacking midfielder, Clatous Chama’s arrival in camp, ZamFoot can also reveal that Lubambo Musonda is expected to fly from his base in Denmark immediately after tomorrow afternoon’s league encounter against Lyngby to join the national team in Morocco.

In the report issued by his club AC Horsens, Musonda also took time to express what an honor representing Zambia is, and the Chipolopolo Boys’ chances going into the World Cup Qualifiers.

“I have represented my country since I started in the U17 national team, and it gives me strength and a good feeling to be part of the national team. “ Musonda said.

“We have a strong team with a good mix of talent and routine, and we believe that we can qualify for the World Cup.”

The arrival of the speedy winger, who can also play as a right back will be a welcome boost for the Beston Chambeshi tutored side.

    • The official list of foreign based players has not yet been made available. We are doing our best to provide updates based on information received from verified sources.

  1. Faz cant be faulted for not announcing the foreign players! It’s a non issue here and cant be used to down rate the perfomance in office. There are factors to consider, absence thru injury, covid protocols etc. There are 2 weeks to make decisions
If they list invited players and say half fail to make it you will again ask for Kalu to come back! Sigh boring.

  2. @Slim. Surely you can’t be serious. Your opponents have both announced the full teams. The match is in less than 7 days. The foreign based players should have been notified by now. What we are asking for is transparency!!! FAZ should announce this and should do better. It’s nonsensical to say that they are waiting for injuries. How many times have teams been announced and a player got injured and couldn’t make it. This is about organization. If the foreign based players know who they are then fine, but what’s the point of the secrecy? If you accept mediocrity in organization then you can expect it on the field.

  3. Slim I did not expect that comment from you. Surely. A.Mulenga, K. Mweene, C.Chibwe (RSA)E.Banda, Chilufya, (Sweden) Tandi Mwape K. Choongo (DRC) could have been told by now to be on stand by. All these are players playing outside the Country. The game is this weekend isn’t? All these boys mentioned are needed compared to the hat we currently have in Camp. FAZ should have made arrangements by now. Chambeshi also is not showing seriousness.

  4. Currently the UK based played might not make it. FAZ should have known this. We all know the situation in the UK. Hence E. Banda and Tiger should have been contacted to come.
Chibwe Augustine G.Lungu all had no games this weekend. They should travelled by now if FAZ was serious. Even the Mazembe boys should have been in Morocco 🇲🇦 by now.

  5. That’s true sibs.we need to know by now the game is on Friday. Say if Daka and Mwepu cant make it. We can’t force issues. Why cant Mulenga Augustine. G Lungu and TP mazembe contingent make it so that players can gel
    together
