The Junior Chipolopolo were eliminated from CAF U20 African Cup of Nations in the first round.
The Dominic Kanda captained side picked up just a point each against Benin.
The young guns were defeated by Gambia and Tunisia.
In the background of the group stage exit, there were no fans at the airport to welcome the boys.
Most of the boys went straight into the match day squads and featured at their respective clubs over the weekend.
Attention has now shifted to the Zambia Under-17 and Under-23s squad.
Osward Mutapa’s Under-23s face Egypt in an Olympic qualifier.
The Under-17 have qualified for the CAF U17 African Cup of Nations.
