Nkana, Konkola Blades, Power Dynamos, FC MUZA, Nkwazi and Red Arrows recorded wins as week 23 came alive.
Power Dynamos continued their unbeaten run as they made it nine games without defeat following a 1-0 win over Green Buffaloes.
Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale scored the only goal of the game. The win takes Power Dynamos to 40 points,five behind log leaders, Red Arrows.
The Airmen, Red Arrows have opened a three point lead at the summit following a narrow 1-0 win over NAPSA Stars.
Ackim Mumba scored the only goal of the game as Arrows moved their point tally to 45.
At the lower end of the table two teams looking to survive relegation went head to head as Trident FC welcomed Nkana.
Jacob Ngulube and Austin Banda scored for Nkana while Peter Musukuma scored the consolation goal for the Conquerors.
The win takes Nkana out of the relegation Zone as they move to 14th place with 26 points while Trident remain bottom with 13 points.
FC MUZA recorded their second win in a row as they edged Forest Rangers 1-0. Chipo Sondashi’s lone strike was enough for the Elegant Dynamites.
In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades returned to winning ways as they beat Kansanshi Dynamos 1-0.
Erick Etienne netted the only goal of the game in the eighth minute off a Sekanji Siame pass.
At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Stephen Mutama scored the only goal of the game as Nkwazi edged Kabwe Warriors.
ZESCO United played to a 1-1 draw with Green Eagles away in Choma.
