Zambia 0-2 South Africa as it happened

Zambia and South Africa are in action at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium  in Ndola at a Four Nations Tourney.

While it’s a friendly match, pride is at stake and defeat for either Wedson Nyirenda or Stuart Baxter  will be damaging to their credentials.

South Africa have named the experienced goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and French based winger Keegan Dolly.

Justin Shonga will lead the attack while Enock Mwepu  will be engine in central midfield for Zambia.

Zambia is unbeaten against South Africa  in the last three fixtures having recorded two wins.

Shonga scored a brace against South Africa last year at the same venue as the Chipolopolo Boys booked a place at the Morocco 2018 CHAN tournament.

  20. Ladies and Gentlemen relax, this is what friendlies are all about assessing players. I would rather lose during a friendly than a serious game because that’s how you learn.Go Zambia GO!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. A better team has won it, we just have to go back to the drawing board. I feel team selection is problematic, there’s need for inclusiveness as some players are still raw material for international delivery
