Natasha ‘Little Tasha’ Nanyangwe scored a hat-trick as Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club eased past Elite Ladies with a huge 5-0 win.
Nanyangwe scored a treble including a late free kick while Maylan Mulenga and Diana Banda added a goal each.
Nanyangwe who just returned from injury recently has now scored 12 goals and made 5 assists this season. She was out for over a month.
The win takes Buffaloes to 71 points at the summit.
At Trade Fair, ZESCO Ndola Girls and Indeni played to a 1-1 draw. Fridah Kabwe put Zegalicious Girls in the lead in the 38th benefiting from a misjudgement by goalkeeper Eunice Sakala.
Ngosa Chabwe leveled matters just before the break with a close range finish off an Edith Phiri cross.
Elsewhere in Kalumbila , Trident Queens and Zanaco Ladies played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Elizabeth Chishimba was the star for the hosts, netting a brace in the 36th and 79th minutes. ZANACO Ladies had earlier taken control through a Juliet Mwanza penalty just two minutes in before Justina Zulu doubled the lead in the 10th minute, but they were ultimately pegged back as the spoils were shared.
Elsewhere, there was little to separate the sides as Kamfinsa Blue Eagles Queens settled for a goalless draw against Chipata Girls in a tightly contested encounter.
Similarly, Green Eagles Women and Nkwazi Queens could not be separated, playing out a 0-0 draw in a match that lacked cutting edge in the final third.
