Zambian striker Lineker Mwikisa has sealed a loan move to Portuguese Segunda League side Santa Clara football Club.
Mwikisa who is on the books of Mozambique’s Macabola side Costa Do Sol impressed the Portuguese side after he hit the Mozambican league by storm, banging in goals at will.
“Pleased to inform you that I have Joined Santa Clara football Club in the Portuguese League 2 on loan till the end of the season,” Mwikisa stated concerning his move.
Santa Clara are currently in 16th position on the log in the 24 team league.
Good move and now #Chipolopolo will definitely come calling. ….
Not Chipolopolo… yena no. Just good for his new wife the Zambia TV diva.
You see you people who laughed at him, or those mocking that Kalengo in Congo-Brazzaville should be ashamed.
Eish, even Mozambique has some good connections to Europe? Our own colonial masters England just came and stole our resources and left, as a matter of fact they treat us like imbwa. Look at Belgium looking out for DRC, France looking out for French countries even Brazil is looking out for Angola in most cases, but here we are with Colonial master benching and destroying our players talent all the time, it speaks volume of these Muzungus from UK..useless animals that came to steal my in Africa claiming to be missioneries, freaking thieves. But oh well. Good luck to Mwikisa. Work hard.
The UK had just too many colonies to run..In that land grabbing frenzy even ordinary citizens like Rhodes because managed to obtain their own claims on behalf of the Crown: Northern and Southern Rhodesia (some serious real estate!)…That’s the problem when you want to have a finger in every pie…you end up caring only for the juiciest!
Good one Mwikisa …balanda ati ‘ so many ways of killing a cat’ ,,,,Maputo via Lisbon.
Correction 1 … “It’s so many ways of killing a rat”.
Correction 2 … “Lisbon via Maputo”.
Thanks.
Oh yeah, Look at how Belgium has looked out for DR Congo; (Civil war, barely functioning government) and Rwanda (Genocide, nuff said), Burundi (Civil war, on the brink of genocide). Yes, these are the kind of colonial masters we should have had so we can have more professionals in football.
Granted, the way Africans are treated by the English governments immigration process is harsh/ridiculous, but lets not lose sight of the big picture
He’s an average player but its a good move and Portugal will help him improve..Good luck to him.he’s a disciplined player..
How old is he? Does he has somthing to contribute to our football
U mean football age or his real age?
Another way to put it: FIFA age or real age? I really laughed when I heard that.
Mary Kasoka must be on cloud 9 this day! Is violet Nyirongo still with noah chivuta!
I didn’t expect this move but I wish him all the best
@tc how do you expect to move foward when you are waiting like a foolish sitting duck for your colonial master to help you? They never came to help anyone hence why their called your colonial MASTER. You need to get up off your ass and chase your dream n make contacts like everyone else rather than waiting for connection from your colonial master…p.s apply this to education, politics, health etc not just soccer and zambia will move foward
tc soccerman nd kampinda tell them kkkkkkkkk
for him to be taken he is not average. he has something
I just watched some of his goals. the guy is good. Basic football. This guy is one who can survive the English league.

The guy is really good. Looking at the way he plays, I believe he is one of the few Zambians who can actually play in England successfully.
He is beyond average, reliable, daring, can pass defenders, good at close control, can turn a half chance into a goal, can score from outside the box, predatory in the box. Hey! What more can you ask for? If this guy fails to tick, I would blame it on the team not him. This guy also knows how to elude those tackles. He Embodies Zambian football philosophy, speed, skill and power. When he is moving forward you can smell destiny

Lusanga, lets see how things go in Portugal first. I’m sure he is talented, but lets wait and see.
any news for Moses Phiri in france?
Rwanda vs Congo 0:1
Lineker is not an ordinary player nor average player. He is special though Zambian has not benefitted from his uniqueness. Before he moved to S.A he had shown those signs of a vital player. This time around the Portuguese club’s move is a confirmation of him being special in a way. That he is old if he is is not a matter of paramount importance. Primary to his course is making his wheel of life turn and move. If that happens Zambia may or still may not benefit. The life of a footballer is like that in short.
Rwanda has equalise Rwanda 1-1 DRC. wishing Rwanda to win so that we shud meet them in semi finals.

full time Rwanda 1-2 DRC. but even if they hv won we are ready to face them in semi finals, it wil be 50-50 & i belive we wil win at the end of the match. we know that their are a gud side but we are also a gud side & we are ready to face any team at this championship.
What is encouraging at this current CHAN is that so far we have been able to dictate the tempo of the game.
