LADIES IN THE GAME
She is definitely one of the lights of Zambian Sports and makes sports easy to follow with her reporting. She describes herself easily:
“Musenge is a fun-loving and sports addict…football Maka Maka…”
Sports which looks a men sports, Musenge found a way of breaking through:
“All credit goes to my Dad( may his soul rest in peace) he introduced me to sport, football to be specific when I was three..started playing the sport at 5 years…so my dream was to be a professional football but when that didn’t work due to obvious reasons there was no money… so I choose to just write about it..”
She also remembers how Ahmed Mwale saw the passion:
“Breaking through …… Ahmed Mwale saw the passion I had during my internship way back in 2008 so he encouraged me and I took the bull by its horns and well here I am..”
Musenge Describes Zambian Football
“Zambian football has so much potential that only needs proper management both on the admin side and player side. Another thing is the Zambian game can really improve if coaches can be taken for training… A lot of them seem to lack on the technical part.”
She continues
“With this in place, the country can produce players that can go on and play anywhere in the world and our league can be one of the best if not the best.”
Her call to the fans especially female fans.
“Well, I have seen the number of female fans tripping to the stadiums increase I think in the last 3 to 4 years. while I hope it’s for the right reasons but for the few who understand the sport and have the passion. let us continue supporting the Zambian game..”
Awesome lady this one is and we can only wish her the very best in this journey
