ZESCO Ndola Girls Goalkeeper Leticia Lungu is optimistic her team will carry the day when they face BUSA Queens tomorrow 1st May 2021 at Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola.
Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew from her base in Ndola the Zegalicious shot-stopper said they are ready and very much aware of what to expect when they take on BUSA in their first-ever meeting in a battle of Goliath vs David.
“We will be having a tough game tomorrow against BUSA, but we will work extra hard no matter what happens because we have never played with them before but we have watched how they play, they are a good side indeed they play very well so it’s not going to be easy but we are ready for this game,” Lungu said.
Lungu who has not conceded any goal in her 3 appearances fitting in the shoe left by Ng’ambo Musole who is away with the senior women’s national team said she aims to work hard and record another clean sheet.
“I have to work hard tomorrow and keep a clean sheet, BUSA has got sharp strikers but I don’t have to allow any goal so I will push my teammates to do well and I also have a job to do tomorrow which is to get another clean sheet.”
ZESCO and BUSA Queens will lock horns in a lunchtime kick-off at 13:00hrs at the Trade Fair Grounds in this exciting Match Week 8 of the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s Super League encounter.
