Football players have for a long time experienced differences between themselves and management.
In 1985 late Left Back Kapambwe Mulenga threatened to quit Nkana Red Devil’s after a fall out with one of the senior ZCCM officials.
In 1994, Kapambwe Mulenga was at it again in a tipsy state,when he openly expressed his anger at the Edinburgh Hotel bar in Kitwe ,over a delay in getting his US$10,000 promised by President Fredrick Chiluba.
