Zambian winger Lameck Banda is officially a US Lecce player after completing formalities to join the Italian Serie A side.
The former Nkwazi and Buildcon man landed in Italy yesterday with his agent Nir Karin and today passed medical checks and signed all contracts to formalize his move.
Banda’s move to US Lecce sees him become the first Zambian player to sign for a Seria A side.
He has penned a four year deal with the club.

Lecce’s first game of the season is against Inter Milan on Saturday. The former ZESCO United man will fly tonight to Israel and go back to Italy on the weekend.
Lameck says this is a dream come true and has thanked his agent Nir Karin for facilitating it.
“It’s a dream come true to play in Italy and I can’t be more happy. I thank my agent Nir Karin that’s always with me,” he said.

Meanwhile Karin said he’s happy with Lameck’s loyalty and his belief, and work rate which has paid off.
