Lameck Banda appointed Lumwana Radiants head coach

Official announcement from the club expected in the next few days.

Lameck Banda is set to be unveiled as new Lumwana Radiants head coach after agreeing to join the North Western based side.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Banda to Lumwana is a done deal and an official statement from the club will be made in the next few days.

Banda recently left FC MUZA following a stellar season with the Elegant Dynamites leading the club through a historic 2022-23 season.

During his tenure Banda led FC MUZA to impressive performances that saw the club finish second place in the Super League and automatically qualify for their maiden CAF Confederation Cup.

Banda also led Mazabuka outfit to the ABSA Cup Final where they lost to Forest Rangers at a packed Woodlands Stadium.

At Lumwana Radiants, Banda will be tasked to bring the team back to the top tier, the MTN Super League following their relegation to the FAZ National Division One last season.

The Uranium Boys finished 16th on the MTN Super League table in the 2022/2023 season with 34 points from 34 games.
