Lambert Gueme’s proposed move to ZANACO breaks downΒ

Zambia Super League side Sensational ZANACO have failed to agree a deal with Cameroonian forward Lambert Gueme Araina.

Zambian transfer expert Wami Katanga reports that the Cameroonian striker has since left the country and π–πˆπ‹π‹ ππŽπ“ π‰πŽπˆπ Zanaco.

The Bankers failed to match Gueme’s demands and the player has since returned to Cameroon.

Gueme arrived in Lusaka last week and was due to sign a two-year deal which has now fallen through at the last minute.

Gueme shot to stardom on the continent in the 2021/22 season as he emerged top scorer in the Confederation Cup with seven goals and 25 goals in the Cameroonian top-flight with Coton Sport thus earning a move to Moroccan giants ASFAR.

In 2021, Egyptian giants Al Ahly were reportedly monitoring the then 22 year old Coton Sport striker.

Araina caught Pitso Mosimane’s attention during that season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign with Coton Sport, where he played 14 games and scored six goals while providing three assists.
