Zambia Women’s National Team Striker Racheal Kundananji is expected to be in action this afternoon for her Kazakhstan club BIIK-Kazgurt who is away in Ukraine to take on Kharkiv in the UEFA Women’s Champions League Round of 32 has been on bye in the first round.
Kundananji will be hoping to continue her impressive form and guide her team to a victory over the Ukrainian Champions having been the club’s top goal scorer for the 2020 Kazakhstan Women’s League with 10 goals.
This afternoon’s match that will be played at the Vorskla Stadium will kick-off at 13:00hrs with the return match coming up on 16th December 2020 at home to Kazgyurt.
Kundananji joined Kazgurt a year ago from Copperbelt based side Indeni Roses, and in the same year, she helped her team reached a maiden Round of 16 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, unfortunately, were knocked out by German giants Bayern Munich and this time around they would be hoping to do better to beat that record.
Elsewhere, the Defending Champions Lyon will have a tricky away fixture in Italy against Juventus.
