Kundananji on target in Madrid CFF comeback win

Copper Queens forward Racheal Kundananji scored in her fourth straight game to help her team record a hard fought 4-3 win over Valencia.

Kundananji scored Madrid CFF’s opening goal as her side came from two goals down to beat Valencia 4-3 in the Spanish Liga F.

Goals from Ivonne Chacon and Pauletta put Valencia in the lead at the Estadio Antonio Puchades.  Kundananji pulled one back in the 57th minute.

Chacon restored the two goal lead two minutes later to complete her brace. Karen Araya reduced the lead with a close range finish.

Aldan Cometti levelled matters in the 80th minute before Ana Rosa Gonzalez could grab the winner from the penalty spot in additional time.

Kundananji has taken her league tally to seven for the season with FC Barcelona’s Caroline Hansen leading the chart with 8.

Kundananji has scored five goals in her last four games for club and country with two assists also to her name.

The win leaves Madrid CFF with a point of second placed Atletico Madrid and a further 9 away from log leaders FC Barcelona.
