Copper Queens striker Racheal Kundananji has targeted personal improvement towards the greater goal of team coordination upfront.
The Copper Queens suffered a 3-2 defeat to Ireland in a friendly match on Thursday.
The Madrid CFF forward is happy with how she played against the Girls in Green but wants to keep improving in terms of coordination with her fellow attackers.
“The game was good, I’m happy that today we had good coordination upfront, and we managed to score goals,” she said
“Even though we lost ,I’m happy because we have improved a lot.
“Today I played well in comparison to the last few games. I played a simple game,” she said.
“I’m so happy to see Zambians here. Individually I need to work on playing simple and working with my teammates, I have to improve on that part.”
Amber Barrett was the hero as she came off the bench to score a brace and help Ireland overturn a 1-0 half-time deficit.
Claire O’Riordan scored the other goals for Ireland while Zambia’s goals came courtesy of a Courteney Brosnan own goal and Rachel Kundananji.
The team leaves Dublin for Germany at 08h00 to continue with their International camp.
The Copper Queens next friendly match will be against Switzerland on 30 June before facing Germany on 7th of July.
